Halloweekend FNF

Tonight, Molly told me she was planning on moving out of town on the 1st of this month. This month? She meant to say next month, but regardless, she’s not going anywhere in any month if I can help it.

Molly: Well, that really resonated with me. So I've decided to move on the 1st of this month.Unlike many years, I didn’t have a Halloween costume picked out ahead of time. So I just grabbed a red pumpkin head out of storage (in a museum exhibit) and put it on. I still kept my “C” logo on, since the Indians are currently in the World Series. Go Tribe!

Note: This picture was taken at the end of the night. It wasn’t raining earlier in the evening.

At 10:00, I opened my gate for my rescheduled Friday Night Forest. Beth and Squishy came over. Beth was dressed as a black cat in a crop top and skirt, and Squishy was dressed as an anime character (Kaori from “Your Lie in April”). Squishy’s outfit is available on her blog if you’re interested in the QR codes.

Anyway, Beth alerted me that there was a buried fossil I hadn’t dug up yet.

Look! I dug up a fossWe then had a net fight at the plaza.

Having a net fight in the Forest event plaza.I took a few hits, but the joke was on them. With my pumpkin head on, I couldn’t feel a thing!

Jeff, wearing a pumpkin head: Just don't squash me.At one point, Beth told me my custom-design sign scared her. And later on, my face scared Squishy!

Squishy: You scared me there, lol.A bit later, Squishy fell into the pitfall behind my gravestone face-cutout standee. But unfortunately, I wasn’t around to see it. I always seem to miss these things. 😛

We headed out to the island for some fishing, bug-catching, swimming, and diving. Look, a catfish!

Beth, dressed as a cat, swims up to the surface after diving. We then went inside for a couple of island tours. We started out with a bug hide-and-seek tour, where we had to catch bugs that aren’t easy to spot. That includes walking sticks, centipedes, and pill bugs. We earned a gold Tortimer award and 15 medals (not including the bonus medals). And to my surprise, I caught the most bugs.

Tortimer: Jeff gets 8 medals, Beth gets 4 medals, and Squishy gets 1 medal! We then went on a balloon-popping tour–the official (regular/medium difficulty) one. I was thinking it didn’t have pitfalls, but it did. It did.

Jeff and Squishy stuck in pitfall seeds on an island tour.We earned a gold Tortimer award and 8 medals. Beth popped the most balloons, and I popped the least. Too bad it doesn’t rank us by how many pitfalls we fell in. 😉

After that, we returned to Forest, where it was now raining. I sold my catches (about 60,000 bells worth) and then ended the session. Thanks for coming, Beth and Squishy! I hope you all have a great Halloween weekend! Feel free to use any of these Halloween QR Codes in New Leaf or Happy Home Designer!

By the way, Eric from Traverse was my most recent dream visitor.

Jeff: BOO-BYE!
