On Tuesday, I received Julian’s goodbye letter in the mail. He also enclosed his picture. So long, Julian! See you soon.
I found my former villager Velma has started appearing on Main Street. I said hello to her as she went shopping.
Last night, I saw that Harvey had this outdoor sign for sale. It looks like it’s made for a coffee shop.
I bought it, but I quickly found out that the outdoor sign can not be used outdoors. What’s the point of calling it that then?
Still, I took it up to Re-Tail to see what customization options were available. The only one was to turn it into a blue signboard. But when I picked it up later, it wasn’t just the color that had changed. Instead of a coffee cup, it now shows a cat reading a book? Good choice for a library, a bookstore…or a school for cats, I suppose.
I found Kevin Bacon at the campsite, but I wasn’t in the mood for pork.
When I checked out the drive-in campground, I found Jack there for the first time. At first, he said “trick or treat,” but he quickly corrected himself.
Since he’s so good at scaring people, I decided to turn the tables and scare him! HONK!
Today, Hamlet asked me to bury a time capsule for him. I buried it in the top-left (northwest) corner of town, as usual.
I went up to the Happy Homes Showcase for the first time since the update, and Digby had something to tell me. He said that the exhibition space can only be accessed by people playing the new version (Welcome Amiibo).
However, all of the houses on display from before the update were still there. But maybe new ones won’t appear unless they’ve updated their game? This seems like it will make it even harder to get those StreetPass badges, since many people haven’t updated their game. Ugh.
Anyway, my recent dream visitors have been Nisno from Partom C, Paige from Congo, and Ruben from Fun Town. Hamlet also mentioned Serenity from Pink Sky. Thank you all for stopping by!
