Yesterday, I got my first pack of Welcome Amiibo cards. Inside, I found Vivian, Paolo, Maddie, Boyd, Boots, and Leopold.
Boots looks unusually cute for a gator, but I decided to scan the Leopold card first, since I’m familiar with him from the GameCube game. In fact, he currently lives in both of my current GameCube towns.
His RV is set up like a mobile classroom, although the touch screen said the only subject he wants to teach is P.E. (physical education).
Beth invited me over to see Huck’s RV too. Huck is also one of the returning villagers unlocked with Welcome Amiibo cards. I like the coffee and snacks he has, but I don’t like him very much as a character.
I received a letter in the mail from Nintendo recently. To honor my escape from the desert island (in the Desert Island Escape mini-game, of course), they awarded me with on ocean-horizon wall. This is what it looks like.
I found Agent S on the bridge, crying because a disco ball said she wasn’t sparkly. Are you off your meds again?
I built a new snowmam, and I really like how this photo turned out for some reason.
I’m not sure why I did this the other day, but I’ve got my villagers calling me sandwich now.
Today, Rolf asked me for some new furniture. I surprised him by giving him a burger meal I ordered from the campground. Delicious! He thanked me by giving me an hourglass. I don’t have time for this…
I scanned my Boots card today, and then I headed over to the campground to take a look inside his RV:
The trellis in his RV is cool, but it’s the tall garden rock that caught my attention. These rocks were in the GameCube game, and I used them in perhaps my best room ever: My Mouth of Truth shrine in my 2007 house tour video.
I may invite Boots to move into Forest at some point, but it won’t be this week.
I got a couple of new Toy Day hints tonight, but I still have a long way to go. Hopefully I can get all the clues I need before Toy Day comes.
My recent dream visitors have been Caleb from Yurtvill, Zachary from Fantasia, Mara from Aurora, Kiki from TuffTown, and Pluto from Gryffin. Thanks for stopping by!
One other note: Sabrina’s Zelda-themed dream town of Termina is back online! See my updated Dream Suite Adventure for more information. See you all next time!
