The January fishing tournament was held this past weekend. Even though I didn’t participate, I did attend the winners’ ceremony. Bob was the big winner, while Agent S got 2nd place and Big Top finished in 3rd.
Able Sisters had a blue flannel shirt on sale, so I decided to buy it and wear it for a while.
Lily needed some assistance with a cherry, so I gladly gave her what she wanted.
She was quite satisfied, and she rewarded me with a saddle fence.
I found Bob taking a catnap while sitting on the metal bench in town. I let the little guy sleep, but I still joined him on the bench for a moment.
After depositing some money into my bank account, my balance reached 89 million bells. My balance will grow even more once furniture becomes the premium item at Re-Tail. I have about 45 pieces of ice furniture assets that I’d like to liquefy.
I played some more Desert Island Escape tonight, and I tried out a new trio of islanders: Maddie, Molly, and Lily. (My usual group is Goldie, Stitches, and Rosie). Maddie is a dog like Goldie, so she had the same “sniff ’em out” ability that I can’t do without. Molly is “soft-footed,” which helps her to evade fights and get away safely, while Lily is a swimmer that can move farther through shallow water (but not far on land).
I completed level 10 with this group, but I think I’ll go back to my usual trio next time. Anyway, I have now completed all of the beginner maps. I’ll move on to the intermediate levels the next time I play.
My recent dream visitors have been Karen from Pactopia, Gonzalo from Orléans, Henry from H Town 3, Alex from Fourside, Memeowfu from Catnip, and Cloud from Lorulia. Thanks for stopping by!
Jeff how do u do the islander game sorry I updated 2 days ago
You need the Wii U console item. You may be able to order it from the RV of an Amiibo card/figure you scan, or you can get one from a fortune cookie at the Nooklings’ shop.
Thanks Jeff I guess I’ll start scanning some amiibo’s to play
WooHoo! I Really Liked The Look Of Your Town. That Is ALOT Of Gold Roses
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it!
I guess Bob celebrated by partying all night and then sleeping on the bench.
Does Sniff ‘Em Out show what’s around you? I don’t have any dogs at the moment, but maybe I need to get one 😛
Yes, you can see (well, smell) which items are in surrounding spaces. Dogs can only move three spaces per turn, but it’s still worth it, because you’ll know which spaces you can safely avoid.
I like using dogs as my first players, and then the other players can either collect the sniffed-out items or explore elsewhere, depending on what I need.
Thank you! That sounds like a good plan 🙂
