On Sunday, I received Camofrog’s goodbye letter in the mail. He also included his picture in the envelope. He was an alright villager, but it was definitely time to move on. Bye, froggy.
On Tuesday, I scanned in a new Amiibo card. It’s not one that was in my previous packs of cards I bought. Instead, I bought this one separately, on eBay. The villager on the card is Hornsby the rhino.
Hornsby was one of the first villagers I ever had in the first Animal Crossing game on GameCube. He may not have been one of the starting five animals in town, but he was a memorable villager for me in my first few months with the game. And his catchphrase, schnozzle, was just as memorable. 🙂 Anyway, here is a look at his RV.
I asked him to move into town, and of course, he agreed.
Then yesterday, my bank account balance reached 102 million bells.
Today, Hornsby (and his house) arrived in Forest. He lives behind Boots’ house, and a bit in front of the bulletin board. That’s a pretty convenient spot.
Here’s a look at my up-to-date town map. (I have also updated my town page to reflect Hornsby’s arrival and the current map).
So I went inside to meet my new friend. Welcome to Forest, Hornsby! Schnozzle!
Over by the Roost, I found a lost item on the ground. It belonged to Boots, and he gave me a metronome to thank me for returning it.
My recent dream visitors have been Snuffle from Minecraf, Pippie from Shadow, and Xavier from Quigley. Thanks for stopping by!
Hornsby looks pretty awesome, not gonna lie..
when are you gonna let aurora move out?
I may let her stay as long as I can. I like having a villager that was here from the very beginning.
That’s exactly why Alice remains in Quigley. She’s the last of my original residents. Hornsby seems pretty cool. He was the very last card I managed to get to complete my set, so there’s some sentimental value there.
