Two Holidays in One

Today is a special day in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Two holiday events (each with its own special character) happened to fall on the same date. It’s both April Fools’ Day and Bunny Day (aka Easter Sunday). So Blanca and Zipper T. Bunny were both standing at the event plaza.

Blanca: Hey there! Do you know what day it is today?
There are a couple of ways to answer that question…

I decided not to participate in Blanca’s activities. But I did collect some eggs for Zipper.

Wow, I caught an egg! I should take it to Zipper!
Over my head, you can see a pink tree. They’re only here in early April.

I took some pictures of the shadow sizes of water eggs and deep sea eggs, and added them to my Bunny Day Guide. So you can check them out if you want to know what shadows to look out for while egg hunting.

In all, I collected nine pieces of egg furniture, two egg walls, an egg floor, and Zipper’s pic. I sold it for a total of 116,562 bells. Carpeting was the premium item at Re-Tail today, so I got a bit extra for the egg floor. After selling everything, I then took my money to the bank. My account balance reached 107 million bells.

Your current balance is 107,000,000 bells.

As part of April Fools’ Day, villagers will try to fool you. Bones told me there’s a new town ordinance in which everyone has to eat five meals a day. 😛

Bones: Big news! There's a new town ordinance! The new rule is called 5 Meals a Day!

I hope you had a fun April Fools’ Day, a successful Bunny Day, and a Happy Easter.

My recent dream visitors have been KJ from Parump, Tiffany from Ganache, and Anderson from Resort. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. (I’m not sure if my previous comment was posted- sorry if it was, it just doesn’t show up for me.)
I was wondering, do you still take friend codes? Your multiplayer nights seem really fun and I’d love to pop in at some point, but it’s fine if you aren’t accepting any!

    1. Sorry, but I’m not accepting 3DS friend requests. I don’t play much multiplayer any more either. But if you have a Nintendo Switch, I am accepting friend requests on it…even though it doesn’t have an Animal Crossing game yet.

Oh, and sometimes comments require moderation before they show up (especially if they’re from a new commenter). I try to approve them fairly quickly (after weeding out the dozens of spam comments I get each day), but there can be a delay sometimes. Sorry about that.

  2. Hey Jeff! Do you still take friend codes, by any chance? I haven’t done much multiplayer as of late so I was wondering if I could join one of your WiFi nights sometime. If not that’s cool too!!
