On Monday, Boots told me he prepared a time capsule. He said it was like a love letter to himself in the future. Um, okay…
So I buried it for him, in the same spot I always use for time capsules: The very northwest corner of town. As I buried it and packed it down, the puffs of dirt and dust blowing up almost looked like flowers!
When I visited Bones, he advised me not to look in his dresser. But when I did, I found a deluxe range and Bones told me I could have it!
Today, Isabelle greeted me outside my house as I started up the game. It’s the 5th anniversary of me becoming mayor! It’s actually the 5th anniversary of the town too, but I didn’t want to break Isabelle’s heart by telling her she didn’t exist before I arrived. 😛
I was dragged over to the event plaza, and Isabelle told me all of the villagers would be there. But actually, only Big Top, Boots, and Tom Nook showed up! Why Tom Nook?
Isabelle gave me a gift, and we all fired off party poppers.
The gift was another sapling clock. I had been wondering if it was a one-time gift, but apparently she gives you one every year. I wasn’t sure what to do with my second one, so I just put it in my house for now.
If you’d like to read (or re-read) my very first blog entry from when I moved in five years ago, here it is: Moving In.
Molly told me she was planning on moving away on May 11th, but I quackly quickly changed her mind for her.
My recent dream visitors have been Sara from Pokémon, Cameron from NightBay, EngUP from X’iang, Mike from Monument, and Nancy from Forest. Thanks for visiting!
