On Wednesday, Hornsby told me he wanted me to dig up his time capsule.
I grabbed my shovel, dug it up, and returned to the blue rhino. It had a red-bar shirt inside, and that was the reward that Hornsby gave me. Time capsules are more work than a typical delivery, so they should have better prizes than just clothing, in my opinion.
Meanwhile, I’m having trouble adjusting to the beautiful town ordinance. More often than not, the store is already closed by the time I play. So my pockets fill up, and item management becomes a chore.
And I forgot that villagers go to sleep earlier too, which is also quite annoying. I still need Bones’ picture, and he goes to sleep so early! Most days I don’t even see him.
Last night, Bob told me that he’s planning on moving out of town on June 11th. That’s Monday!
I’ve decided to let him go, and I plan on letting Squishy adopt him.
After selling some things today, I put my money in the bank. My account balance reached 108 million bells.
When I visited Bones, he told me that he hasn’t been practicing his metal guitar lately. Now that, I’d like to see! I haven’t seen a dog playing the guitar since…oh, well, since K.K. Slider every Saturday night. Nevermind. 😛 But I’d still like to see Bones play!
He wants to get better so he can start busking.
Today is the 5-year anniversary of New Leaf’s release in America! If you got the game on that first day, remember to play today to pick up your sapling clock! Unless you already got it last year and don’t want another one, of course. 😛
My recent dream visitors have been Elliott from Forest, Toad from Artland, Keelan from Alook, Teren from SmolTown, and Mia from Arcadia. Thanks for stopping by!
Just so you know, Toad from Artland is one of my characters. Also, its CAPTAIN Toad.
Okay, thanks for visiting! 🙂
Huh? You’re letting Bob go? Isn’t he one of your favourites?
Yeah, but I don’t need to keep him forever. I’ve had him for two years, and that’s a pretty good run. Besides, it’s not the same as in ACCF. He meant more to me in that game than he did in New Leaf.
I was recently in a similar situation as you with Bob in my game with Vesta. I like her a lot, but while not one of my initial villagers she was among the first (if not the first) to move in (i.e. that I saw a reserved lot for). So though I’d thwarted her previous moving attempts, come her most recent one I decided she’d had a good run and I let her go. Monday (8/20) was her last day. And also like you with Bob, Vesta actually meant more to me in a different game, the original GameCube game in my case.
