Toy Day Hints, Hide & Seek

On Monday, I saw the first snow flurries of the season.

Snow flurries falling at Jeff's house in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Now that December is here, villagers have Toy Day on their minds. They’ve been giving me some hints as to what’s on their wish lists. For example, Hornsby wants something pink.

Hornsby: Anyway, I'm really hoping my present this year is pink.

Rolf told me he wants something brown from Jingle. I suppose that means he’ll be happy with reindeer poop?

Rolf: You know, I just really want a brown gift from Jingle this year. That simple!

I’ve only received a few Toy Day hints so far, but this is what they want:

  • Hornsby: something pink
  • Lolly: orange clothing
  • Rolf: brown instrument

Lolly wanted to play a game of hide-and-seek today, and I agreed to play. But only because it was Lolly that asked. I had ten minutes to find her, Boots, and Bones. It only took me about five seconds to find Boots behind a nearby tree.

Boots: What?! How did you find me?! My hiding muscles must be way weaker than I thought they were!

About a minute later, I found Bones, also behind a tree. And still with over seven minutes on the clock, I found Lolly too! Under three minutes total! Not bad.

Lolly hides behind a tree.

She gave me some kitchen flooring for winning the game.

Lolly: And we have a prize for the winner! Here. Please accept some kitchen flooring from us!

My bank account balance reached 111 million bells recently. But today, I deposited a few more bells to hit a less round number: 111,111,111 bells.

Your current balance is 111,111,111 bells.

My recent dream visitors have been Siasuar from Covenant, Tii from Whalien, Sarah from Fiore, Jenna from Arcadia, and Lauren from Arabella. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

  1. Do they all want the same thing every year or is it different every time? Tom in my town wants orange food.

    1. It’ll be different every time. Last year, Rolf wanted a pink umbrella instead of a brown instrument, and Hornsby wanted a red plant instead of something pink.
