A message on the bulletin board informed me that January 27th (last Sunday) was Aurora’s birthday. But I missed it this year.
Boots asked me for a new greeting, so I told him to say “Let’s eat a goat.” It’s a reference to the first Jurassic Park. I’m not saying Boots is a dinosaur or anything, but…maybe he eats like one.
Today was Groundhog Day, and Isabelle was standing over at the event plaza. She gave me a Resetti model for the occasion.
I also checked out the faceboard and tried to be a mole. I guess I should have made an angry face like Resetti… wait, can I reset and try again? 😛
Agent S asked me for some fruit, so I shook a nearby durian tree. Oddly, I noticed one of the pieces of fruit hopped over an empty space. At first, I thought maybe there was something buried in that spot, but that wasn’t the case. And when I tried to dig there anywhere, the game wouldn’t let me! (It’s the spot directly above the rock.)
There wasn’t a pattern placed there, either. So I really have no idea why that space was off-limits to me. Anyone have an idea? By the way, after making a trip around town, it later let me dig there. So maybe it was just a temporary glitch. Still weird, though. I don’t recall having that happen to me before.
I went up to Club LOL to catch K.K.’s Saturday night performance. Elise and Hamlet were also in there, and K.K. played K.K. Love Song for us.
In case you’re wondering if Festivale is coming up, it’s actually not until March 4th this year. That’s the latest date it’s occurred on since New Leaf’s release! See my Festivale Guide for more info.
My recent dream visitors have been Songyi from Starpool, Dylan from Fuzztown, and Tina from Nuveme. Thanks for stopping by!
Update: Here is a new Animal Crossing video for you to enjoy. It’s not about New Leaf specifically, but it shows 13 things I’d like to see in the upcoming Animal Crossing game on Nintendo Switch.
