You Could Use a Casket

When I started up the game last Tuesday, Aurora told me she thought I could use a mummy’s casket. I’m not sure what to think of that. But…thanks?

Aurora: Um, Dr. J. I hope this isn't presumptuous, but I think you could use a mummy's casket.

I later gave it to Big Top when he asked for some new furniture. In turn, he gave me a dracaena.

Today, Saharah was in town. I gave her 3,000 bells to makeover my house. She installed an ancient tile and a tent wall.

An ancient tile and tent wall in my house.

I found a lost item on the ground, and I returned it to its owner, Molly. There was an important recipe inside the bag, and she rewarded me with a noodle tee. I wonder if the recipe was for the noodle tee. 😉

Molly: Hey! This IS mine! And there's an important recipe inside, so thank you for finding it for me!
It fits like a wet noodle.

As usual, I had trouble finding the two villagers I need to speak to most: Lolly and Inkwell. I eventually found Inkwell in the art gallery wing of the museum.

Inkwell: Whoa! Is that you, Jeff?! It's been a while since I saw you... But you haven't changed at all...
You haven’t changed either, squid boy.

But Lolly proved to even more difficult to find. I searched town twice, the museum twice, and then I eventually found her back in town on my 3rd time around. I still didn’t have any luck scoring her pic, but I’ll keep trying and trying.

And just before I wrapped up my night, Rolf asked me to bury a time capsule for him.

Rolf: Hey, I've got quite an exhilarating event planned for today! Yup, I am looking to bury my time capsule!

I buried it near the northwest corner of town. That’s my usual spot for time capsules, where I’ll remember not to dig it up thinking it’s a fossil or gyroid.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include NovaStar from Mystic and Ben from Arby’s. Thanks for stopping by!
