On June 4th, I received a letter from Inkwell thanking me for attending his party. He sent me a big-dot tee. Later that day, he asked me to bury another time capsule for him.
It was raining on June 16th, and Inkwell told me that he just lets the rain wash his sweat away, so that he doesn’t have to shower. And yet, he was holding an umbrella.
I always thought it was silly that frogs don’t hold umbrellas in New Leaf, and yet, octopi do. An octopus needs to be in water more than a frog does!
Yesterday, Inkwell said it was time to dig up the time capsule. So I did.
I returned it to him, and he found an old, sweat-soaked beaded shirt. Why does this guy talk about sweating so much? π
He gave me a modern cabinet for helping him out.
I couldn’t help but notice that peacock butterflies only sell for 220 bells in this game. I had forgotten that fact; in New Horizons, they sell for 2,500 bells. I wonder what happened between games that made them jump in value. π¦ π
Today, Boots asked me for a piece of fruit. I gave him a perfect peach, and it was jaw-droppingly good.
He must’ve been over the moon, because he rewarded me with a lunar rover. π
Inkwell wanted some new furniture to replace his greenhouse box. I grabbed a handwashing area out of storage and gave it to him. He loved it!
He rewarded me with a plush carpet. I still haven’t earned his pic yet, but I’ll keep trying!
According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Will from Morran, Bean from Jelly, Sam from PogTopia, and Hadesz from Caledo. Thanks for stopping by!
“I always thought it was silly that frogs donβt hold umbrellas in New Leaf, and yet, octopi do.” And this has apparently continued in New Horizons. I haven’t had any frog neighbors yet, but I do have Marina and seen her with an umbrella on rainy days.
