On Tuesday, Agent S asked me to dig up her time capsule.
When I did, she found a blue-bar tee inside. Not surprisingly, that was my reward for all that work. I wish we would at least get a piece of furniture for these time capsule quests, but oh well.
For the first time in ages, there was a camper at the campsite. Cube the penguin was inside! I like Cube, even though he’s not quite in my top tier of villagers. But since my town hasn’t been at full capacity for eight months, I decided to ask him to move in!
On Wednesday, Inkwell asked me to bury a time capsule for him. And I agreed to help out.
After I gave Boots a new catcphrase, he asked me for a pear. I found one in town and took it back to him. He loved it!
He rewarded me with a green counter.
Cube’s house plot appeared yesterday, and then he moved in today (Friday the 13th). He lives just south of the event plaza, next to the zen garden.
Welcome to Forest, Cube! He seems like a nice guy.
Inkwell wanted to trade his red gym tee for a dorado I just caught in the river! I agreed to the trade, only because I’m sucking up to him right now. 😛
Later, I spotted a balloon present that was flying over the river. Since my slingshot pellets couldn’t reach it, I had no choice but to watch it sail over the waterfall and out of town.

I envy you not being at full capacity. Out of my village of Snake, Teddy, Fang, Erik, Drake, Keaton, Dizzy, Mathilda, Cheri and Whitney who would you let go in NL?
Noone stands out to me but it’s currently a bit male heavy so am leaning on Erik once he decides to announce he wants to go.
Personally, I’d probably let Mathilda go. Or if I was trying to let a male go, I’d probably choose Snake. But that’s a nice group of villagers you have there!

I know Snake is weird but he is a day one villager and Mathilda is a dead ringer for my dog despite being a kangaroo!
No problem! Those are good reasons for keeping them, so I can totally understand wanting to keep them around. 🙂
