Today is moving day for Big Top. After 3,269 days in Forest, he is leaving town…to join the big top of the circus perhaps? Except that the big circuses stopped using elephants during his stay in Forest. I wonder if he knows?
I will certainly miss Big Top. But I never intended for him to stay for nine years. Even though most of my GameCube villagers have been around for well over a decade, I don’t necessarily want all of my towns to be like that. So don’t be surprised if I let some other long-time New Leaf villagers leave in the next few months too.
Inkwell told me that Big Top hasn’t done much planning, so he doesn’t even know where he’s going to live. I felt like Inkwell was trying to make me feel bad about letting him go. 🙁
Hornsby asked me to make a delivery to Boots, because he was too hungry to do it himself. 😛 Luckily for him, I agreed to help out.
The gift was a monkey shirt, and Boots went ape for it. He thanked me by giving me his picture, and he said he hopes it’s not something I already have!
Except that he himself has given me about half a dozen of these now. 😂
When I spoke to Rolf, he had a flea on him. He asked me for some furniture…so I caught the flea and then gave that to him! He was surprisingly hoppy happy with it, and he rewarded me with an editor’s desk. 😛
Lolly asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek, and I was up to the challenge. Rolf and Agent S joined in, so I was playing with three of my favorite villagers!
Lolly gave me 15 minutes to find them all, and I found Rolf almost immediately.
I later found Agent S and Lolly hiding behind trees, and I won the game without any trouble. Lolly gave me an exotic lamp as my prize.
Agent S asked me for a tiger beetle, so I went out to the island to look for one. It just took me a couple minutes to find one. When I returned to the mainland to give it to her, she thanked me with an arctic-camo shirt.
According to Luna, Sloth from Island was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day!
