Last Sunday, I noticed a double balloon present floating by, and I shot down a silver slingshot. I didn’t need it, of course, but it was hard to resist shooting it down. 😛
I found a lost item (a bag) on the ground, and I returned it to its owner, Cherry. She said her donuts were inside! 😮
To thank me, she gave me a yellow-bar shirt. Why not give me a donut instead??? 🍩
On Thursday, Saharah was in town. I paid her 3,000 bells to install a rococo wall and red tile in my house.
I found Gulliver washed up on the beach Saturday, and he was talking about mermaids and vikings. So I reminded him that he was headed to Denmark.
He sent me a mermaid statue in the mail yesterday. I later gave it to Inkwell when he asked for some new furniture.
Today, Inkwell wanted to play a game of “power hide-and-seek.” I’m not sure how it’s different from regular hide-and-seek, but I agreed to play anyway.
Almost immediately, I found Cube hiding behind his own house. I was so quick that the “start” banner was still on the screen. 🤣
After two minutes had passed, I found Rolf behind a perfect peach tree near the Roost. And another minute after that, I found Inkwell behind a tree near the entrance to the campground.
Inkwell gave me a pendulum clock for winning the game.
After doing a favor for Cherry, she rewarded me with a cherry tee! How appropriate! Thanks, Cherry! 🍒
I was ready for a new shirt, so I put it on right away.

Have you ever lost a hide and seek?
I managed for the first time last winter with Fang and Vivienne, trying to find two white wolves in a snow storm was beyond me.
I’ve lost at hide-and-seek in City Folk, but I’m not sure about New Leaf.
