On Sunday, Cherry asked to visit my house. Since I’m desperately trying to earn her photo, I agreed to let her come over…even though I had to schedule the visit 40+ minutes ahead of time. Oof. But I was there on time, and she checked out my house…even if she did say my house smelled like me.
I showed her every room, and she eventually left without giving me a gift.
On Monday, I spotted my first snow flurries of the season!
Inkwell told me that I could warm up by running a marathon. 😛
Yeah, I guess that would warm me up, but there’s got to be an easier way than that, right? 😆 Like maybe putting on a coat?
Last night, the Reset Surveillance Center was open…so I dropped in for a visit. Don warned me to leave before something goes wrong. That was rather ominous. 😛
Today, I cleaned up a ton of unwanted flowers around town. Wondering why? It’s because I decided to update my dream town for the first time in months! Luna informed me that 5,489 people have visited my dream (post-update, that is).
She also informed me that William from Insomnia was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!
Back in town, Rolf surprised me with a gift: an arctic-camo shirt. His whole body is basically artic-camo. 😛
And before I wrapped up my game for the night, Cherry asked me for a bagworm. I went around town twice, shaking every non-fruit tree I could find. Eventually, I caught one. But Cherry only gave me a shirt for my trouble (a jagged tank).
See you all next time!
Hello Jeff! I remember a video of you mentioning that you don’t usually use turnips to make bells. What other methods do you use to make bells (I got my 3DS to play New Leaf recently and I want to update my house, it’s still on the second expansion even after 6 months!).
The best way is to go to the island at night and catch lots of those big beetles on trees; they’re worth a lot of bells! You can also catch any sharks you see while you’re there.
Another tip is to take any ore you find to the flea market spaces at Re-Tail. Villagers will pay up to 7,999 bells for them (and 9,999 for gold/silver nuggets). Good luck! 🙂
Hello again Jeff!
I bought some turnips on Sunday, I hope to sell them at a good price later this week. I’ve never really used the Flea Market, but thanks for the tip, I’ll start selling the ores I find there. Thanks for the reply Jeff 😉
