On Monday, I found a gem rock while looking for the money rock. I’m always struck by how pretty and colorful these are. I hope they return in a future game!

It was my first time playing in March, so I was a bit amused when Inkwell told me I march to my own beat. Of course, he said it in his own unique way.

It was Shamrock Day (St. Patrick’s Day), so I headed to the event plaza. I stuck my face through the face-cutout standee. I’m an angry leprechaun!

And of course, Isabelle was there in her green outfit. She was handing out shamrock hats, and I promptly put mine on my head.

My villagers all acknowledged my hat, as I found out while talking to Cube by the…cube. (Sculpture.)

Today (March 20th) is Hornsby’s birthday! I stopped up at T&T Emporium and bought a couple of fortune cookies. One of them was a winner, and I got a kart. Wahoo!

I bought some wrapping paper and wrapped up the kart before heading to Hornsby’s house. I gave it to the birthday boy, and he said he didn’t expect it. That doesn’t exactly sound like he loved it, but he should! It’s a go-kart!

My buddy Boots was also at the party, having a good time.

It was nice, but there’s not a whole lot to do at these parties after you hand over a gift and talk a few times. So after a few moments, I was on my way. Happy birthday, Hornsby!
Cube was planning on leaving town, but I promptly made him change his mind. He’s not allowed to leave until I get his photo.
