In early April, cherry blossom petals fall from the sky, and many trees have pink leaves. That even applies to the town tree. It’s probably the prettiest time of year in the game.

Last Sunday, Boots told me that Big Top fell asleep standing up…and he was talking in his sleep!

Big Top was speaking as if Boots just told him a secret for incredible wealth.

Of course, this was news to Boots, and he responded with his classic jaw drop.

Big Top then woke up, and he was disappointed that he couldn’t remember what the secret to incredible wealth was. 😛

Today, Big Top told me that he was planning on moving out of town on April 20th.

This may surprise some of you, but I’m actually letting him leave. I like Big Top a lot, of course…but this town has become so stagnant. I keep most villagers around for years, and I’ve been meaning to shake things up for a while. Big Top has been here since Day 7 of this town’s existence. That’s nearly nine years!

It may feel weird without my next-door neighbor (and good buddy) around, but I do have Big Top in my City Folk town. So I’ll still see him in that game.

While standing in front of Aurora’s house, Molly asked me to deliver something…to Aurora. 😛

The item was a dapper shirt, and Aurora said she got it for me. It’s not the best reward, but then again, walking two feet wasn’t exactly a whole lot of work either.

Blaire the squirrel was camping at the campsite today. I wasn’t interested, and my town is still full anyway. But by next week, I’ll be able to check for campers once again.

Cube was actually in town tonight (instead of inside the museum), and he asked me for a butterfly. I grabbed an emperor butterfly from my dock box, and handed it over.

He rewarded me with an ornate wall. I’ll get his picture one of these days weeks months years! 😉

When I played yesterday, four of my ten current villagers were in the museum! That’s nearly half my town! And of course, Inkwell and Cube were two of them.

(The other two were Molly and Big Top.)

I scanned an amiibo card of Labelle that I recently bought. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have an RV, but Wisp showed up to give me Labelle’s pic. Her favorite quote is “Ask for a hammer, and you’ll get a needle.”

Today, Hornsby told me that the warm spring sun knocks him out cold.

I decided to stop by the Roost to get a rare cup of coffee. DJ K.K. was also there, enjoying a cup.

Lolly asked me for a piece of fruit, so I gave her the last perfect peach in my pockets. She enjoyed it, and she rewarded me with…a female mask?

I scanned a Pavé amiibo card today, and Wisp showed up to perform his Pavé impression. 😛

He gave me Pavé’s pic; his favorite quote is “There is no right or wrong. There is only Pavé.”

Back outside, Inkwell was showing his aquatic roots by saving he wanted to play in the fountain! 🐙

He wanted to show me all of his swimming strokes. Sorry, Inkwell. I wish you could!

March 7th was Molly’s birthday, and I attended her party; Agent S was also there. I gave Molly a laptop that I bought at Re-Tail for her birthday present.

That same day, I found Tangy at the campsite! It’s too bad my town is full, because I would have liked to invite Tangy to Forest.

Yesterday, I went up to Shampoodle to dye my hair green. When I returned, I found a lost item on the ground. It didn’t belong to any of the first eight villagers I tracked down, but it did belong to #9: Agent S.

She gave me a water cooler to thank me. As for the 10th villager, who took me a while to find? It was Cube, of course. He was in the museum.

Today is Shamrock Day (St. Patrick’s Day), so I went over to the event plaza to get my gift from Isabelle. She gave me a shamrock hat to wear.

I checked out the face-cutout standee to imagine myself as a rich leprechaun.

I decided to put the shamrock hat on for the day, and my villagers all commented on it.

Agent S said on days like today, she should be skipping around town with some iced coffee! Sounds like a plan!

And where do you think Cube spent his Shamrock Day? In the museum, of course.

As mayor, I may need to speak with Blathers about banning Cube from the museum until he gives me his picture. 😛
