Festivale 2022

Today is the day that confetti falls from the sky, and the dancing peacock Pavé comes to town. Viva Festivale!

Pave: VIVA...FESTIVALE!

He asked me to collect blue feathers, so I kept my eyes out for them as I played. The villagers that are outdoors enjoy dancing, and they’re all wearing cute little hats.

Inkwell: Let's whoop it up and get this little town hopping!

The feather-collecting was going slow. Fortunately, you can also play games (charades or rock-paper-scissors) with outdoor villagers to win more feathers. Molly really helped me out.

Molly: All right. Since you won, I'm handing over this blue feather.

Once I finally got three blue feathers, Pavé took them and handed me a Pavé bureau.

Pave: Pave is generous and attractive, so Pave will give you this Pave bureau.

Next, he wanted three green feathers. But before I got them, I found a rainbow feather. They can be exchanged immediately for a piece of furniture. In this case, Pavé gave me a Pavé clock for it.

Pave: GLORIOUS!

Unfortunately, the hunt for green feathers was dragging on. I was getting tired of searching, and I was nearly falling asleep as I played. 😛 But I did eventually get the feathers, and I traded them in for another Pavé bureau.

When Pavé told me he wanted purple feathers next–a color I only had one of–I decided to call it quits. I took my three furniture items over to Re-Tail, and I sold them for a total of 36,000 bells.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Skylar from Ashton and Ben from Snowland. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all had an enjoyable Festivale, if you participated. See you next time!

Valentine’s Day 2022

Today is Valentine’s Day, and I received three valentines in the mail: Isabelle sent me a chocolate cake, Molly sent me a chocolate heart, and “Mom” sent me a comfy sweater.

Another Valentine’s Day tradition in recent Animal Crossing games is to enjoy some hot chocolate at the Roost. It’s so sweet! 💘

Me, enjoying some hot chocolate at the Roost on Valentine's Day: It's so sweet!

Rolf asked me to deliver something to Big Top (something that he left behind at Rolf’s house), and that item turned out to be a peach.

Big Top: It's my peach!

My reward was an apple! We’re just standing here trading fruit back and forth. 😂

Big Top: You must be hungry, right? Then here, have an apple!

Up in the sky, I couldn’t help but notice the northern lights…and a nearly full moon. It was a pretty sight to behold.

The northern lights and a nearly full moon light up the sky.

The two villagers whose pictures I still need (Inkwell and Cube) were both hiding out in the museum…where I can’t have regular conversations with them and can’t make any progress in growing our friendship. Boots was also in the museum, so that’s 30% of my town! It’s so annoying! I wish it was limited to zero one villager at a time.

I also found a couple of former villagers in the museum, including Hippeux. He was complaining that there aren’t any paintings with ripped males flexing their muscles. 😛

Hippeux: You ever notice they don't seem to have any ripped males flexing their muscles in these paintings...

He even suggested that he could model for some paintings. Yikes. 😛

Hippeux: If it's for the sake of art, I can pose as a model if necessary!
I’ve never been so glad to not be an artist.

Pascal had his RV parked at the campground, and he looks different without his hat.

Pascal: That face when you find fresh scallops on the beach... Mmm, mmmm!

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Cooper from Suna and Skylar from Ashton. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! 💖💖💖

Penguin Party Week

On January 10th, both of my penguins (Aurora and Cube) seemed to be walking towards me for no apparent reason. It was kind of cute…and kind of odd. 😛

Cube and Aurora walking towards me.

On January 24th, my bank account balance reached 121 million bells.

This Thursday (the 27th) was Aurora’s birthday. I attended her party and gave her a robo-closet that I bought at Re-Tail.

Aurora: This has been an amazing birthday. Thank you for being a part of it, Dr. J!

I was a bit surprised that Inkwell was the other villager at the party. But I guess it’s nice to see he’s finally made a friend. 😛

Inkwell: I blew off the big snooker tournament to dash over here!

As I walked out of her house, I noticed another aurora…one in the sky. Happy birthday, Aurora!

The northern lights shine over Aurora's house.

Today, I received a letter from Aurora thanking me for the birthday present. She attached a detective outfit to the letter. 😛

It’s Cube’s birthday today, so I bought a fancy display stand from Harv, wrapped it up, and then headed over to Cube’s house.

Cube: Welcome, Jeff! I'm glad you can be here to celebrate my birthday with me!

I gave him his present, and he seemed to enjoy it. Big Top was also at the party, and he said we were going to show Cube the best time he’s ever had…at the zoo. 😛

Big Top: Today you and I are gonna show Cube the best time he's ever had, at the zoo!

So both of my penguin villagers had birthdays this week! I guess winter is their time of year. I just hope Aurora and Cube aren’t getting ideas about any penguin babies of their own, because I don’t have room for them in town! 😛

I rolled up two snowballs to make a Snowmam tonight. However, she wasn’t perfect; so she demanded five snowflakes instead of three. (But she got zero.) 😂

Jeff stands between a tulip topiary and a Snowmam.

Up at Club LOL, Elise said that she was looking for a cookie cutter! Weird place for that.

Elise: I was actually hoping to find a cookie cutter...but I've spent most of my time window shopping.

Hamlet was also at the club, and K.K. Slider performed Rockin’ K.K. for the three of us.

When I returned to town, I heard someone fall into a pitfall. It was poor Molly!

Molly: I'm sorry. I just want to be left alone right now...oh quack.

I later found out she was planning on moving out of town on February 6th, but I got her to change her mind.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Ziven from Atlantis, Glenn from Coronet, Scampi from Lovely, Lee from Familiar, and Conner from Buraza. Thanks for stopping by!
