Isabelle greeted me as I came out of my house today. That’s because it’s my town’s anniversary! It was 7 years ago today that I began my New Leaf adventure. 🙂

We gathered at the town tree for a ceremony. But it was interesting to see who actually showed up: Rolf, Big Top, and Porter? Why only two villagers? And why Porter of all people? Don’t get me wrong, I like Porter…but it just seems like an odd decision. 😛 Maybe the developers were just monkeying around.

But it’s actually the same group of people that showed up as last year! Rolf and Big Top switched positions, but that’s the only difference.

When I had the choice of dialogue to say, I picked the one that urged everyone to keep voting for me. But Isabelle said it doesn’t work that way, because I’ve already got everyone’s never-ending support. 😛

Even though New Horizons is my focus now, I appreciated the gesture and the ceremony. 🙂

Claudia (who also lives in my New Horizons town) was disappointed that there are no events coming up on the horizon.

Vivian asked me for some furniture to replace her cabin bed. But Re-Tail didn’t have anything that size, and neither did Harvey. And T&T Emporium was already closed for the night.

So I looked in my storage and dug out a museum clock. It’s one that someone on Youtube asked me to buy them last year, and I did…but they stopped responding to me after I bought it. So I figured I’d go ahead and give it to Vivian. She seemed to enjoy it, and she gave me a clothes closet in return.

The entrance to Resetti’s surveillance center was open, so I dropped in for a visit. Resetti wasn’t around, but I had a quick chat with Don.

When I came back up, I stopped to take a picture of the moon.

At Club LOL, I asked K.K. for a random song, and he played K.K. Fusion for me, Peck, and Hamlet.

I couldn’t find Lolly anywhere in town (which is very common, especially at night). So I looked in the museum, and I found her in the aquarium room.

Aurora told me she saw a picture of a beautiful spider, and she’s now obsessed! 😮

She wanted me to catch one for her. I agreed to help her out, and I started shaking trees along my journey around town.

Next to the wind turbine, I found a lost item on the ground!

Molly told me she was going to move out of town on the 5th of this month. I see this is a glitch they never fixed. She means the 5th of next month, since April is winding down already. Regardless, I told her not to leave. 🦆

After circling around town, I made my way back to Aurora’s house. I shook the three right next to her house, and it had a spider in it! I guess Aurora’s spider sat down right beside her! 😉

I took it inside, and Aurora rewarded me with a big bro’s tee. Mama mia! In case you’re wondering (and you weren’t :P), I encountered three bees before I found the spider. Shockingly, I caught all three without being stung! 🐝

I reunited the lost book with its owner, Agent S. She gave me an optical shirt for helping out. It’s kind of disappointing when everyone keeps giving me shirts, but oh well. 😛

At Club LOL, I asked K.K. for a sad song. He played Two Days Ago for me, Dizzy, and Elise.

After not finding Lolly in town anywhere tonight, I started looking for her on Main Street. I eventually found her in the aquarium at the museum. Unfortunately, she kept repeating the same exact dialogue every time I spoke to her.

At Club LOL, Dizzy and Hamlet were in the crowd to enjoy the show. But Hamlet acted scared when he saw me!

I asked K.K. Slider to play a random song, and I instantly regretted it when he played K.K. Song. Ugh, it’s the worst.

Boots asked me to catch a wharf roach for him. Since not much else was going on, I agreed to help him out. But several trips up and down the coastline yielded no results. So I took a quick trip out to the island, and I caught one within a minute.

I returned to the mainland, and Boots seemed surprised that I actually caught one for him.

As my reward, he gave me a wrap shirt. All that effort for a shirt? On that disappointing note, I wrapped up my night in Forest.
