Double-neck Guitar Best Buy DLC

Today, I went in to my newly expanded left room. It’s now a 6 x 6 room.

My newly expanded left room. And there was a new message posted on the town bulletin board. It’s a reminder that the first fireworks festival is coming up this Sunday!

~ Notice ~ The fireworks show starts at 7 p.m. this coming Sunday! Don't miss it!While working in the cafe today, an out-of-town visitor came in for coffee. His name is Hamphrey the hamster, and he’s a new animal in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Hamphrey: Gimme a coffee! And make it a Blue Mountain!Even though I didn’t get his order completely perfect, I did get my other customers’ orders perfect. So I still earned superb coffee beans for the day. I went to try to sell them in Re-Tail for 8,000 bells. Rolf came in and had the exclamation point above his head, so I thought he would buy them. But when I talked to him, he said it was too expensive.

Rolf: Hmmmm. Nope! It's not good to waste money like that! I'm gonna pass this time!So I lowered the price down to 7,500 bells. But by then, Rolf was interested in a shirt instead. So I tried to push him back down to the beans. But as I pushed, I accidentally sat up on a stool instead. And of course Reese follows me around everywhere, and Rolf was still fascinated with the shirt, so I couldn’t get down! I’ve made a huge mistake.

Jeff: OMG MOVE!So I was stuck there! Fortunately, Rolf lost interest in the shirt after about 30 seconds, so I was finally able to get down. At this point, I didn’t care about selling my beans and I just wanted to get out of Re-Tail alive. I’ll sell the beans another time.

Back outside, I found the daily money rock. Except today, it was the gem rock! But I was banging my rock, Katt walked right up to me (from out of nowhere) and I was forced to talk to her!

Kat: HmmmmSo I only got five gems out of the rock instead of eight. What a bummer. I’m counting down the days until you’re gone, Katt…

After I was done with my daily tasks, I went to get the latest Best Buy DLC, the double-neck guitar.

Pelly: Sorry to keep you waiting! I hope you enjoy your new double-neck guitar!I believe this is the last of the Best Buy exclusive DLC items. This is what the double-neck guitar looks like:

Buying Turnips from Joan

While in Re-Tail today, I saw Tabby and said hello. Wow, I just can’t get over her face.

Tabby: How can I not buy at least one thing today, killer! There's so much here! And last Friday night, Valeria gave me a bamboo shoot, which I planted in my town. It’s starting to grow.

My bamboo is growing! And I was playing in the morning today, which is a rare thing for me. So when I saw Joan, I decided to buy some turnips. She was selling them for 107 bells each; I bought 200.

Joan: So 200 turnips comes out to be... 21,400 bells altogether. Do you wanna buy them?Big Top had given me a pineapple bed, but not soon after, Tex wanted to buy it with all of his money.

Tex: Well, I'm desperate. So if I can have your pineapple bed, I'll give you ALL my money.Unfortunately, he only had 248 bells to his name.

Tex: How much exactly...? Oh no, I've only got 248 bells. Er, is that enough for you?I still sold it to him. My pockets tend to fill up quickly on my daily walks, so exchanging items for money is a helpful thing.

Then later on tonight, my friend Wendy told me that she’s now able to view her town history at her town tree. So she invited me over to see it with her.

- The History of Oakville - June 9th, 2013: Mayor Wendy took office. June 11th, 2013: Eugene moved to town. After I returned to my town, I caught a few emperor penguins butterflies and a horned elephant. I sold them and went into the post office. I just barely had enough to pay off my house expansion! So I decided to expand the left-side room of my house. It’s currently 4×4 spaces, so this will bump it up to 6×6, which is much more manageable. It will be done tomorrow.

Tom Nook: This work will be fully completed by tomorrow morning. I'm so sure you must be very excited, yes, yes!

K.K. Island

When I checked my mail today, I got a letter from my friend Wendy. And the letter played a song! It was the Song of Healing (from Zelda). Apparently, you can do that with melody paper. I never even paid attention to that stuff before!

Timmy: Ah, some melody paper! A fine item, yes? While working in the cafe today, I had two out-of-towners come in for coffee. One was Kiki, the black pig-like cat who I grew to like when she lived in my City Folk town. The other was Baabara, who just recently mocked me viciously in the GameCube version of Animal Crossing.

Baabara: I'll have a coffee, please. Mocha roast!Tortimer also came in for coffee. I didn’t have any notes on him, so I had no idea. He hated the coffee, but appreciated the customer service.

Tortimer: Hey there, sprout! Gimme a cup of coffee to go!I only earned good coffee beans today, which is quite unusual. But that’s what happens when you don’t have notes on the day’s customers. After work, I went outside and had the best conversation imaginable with Katt! That’s right! She’s moving out of town!!!

Katt: I've got a secret! I was gonna keep it quiet, but I feel like I should tell you. I'm moving this summer. At first she was just saying she would move this summer. But then she gave a specific date: July 31st. Awesome!

Katt: Pretty soon, actually. You're stuck with me until the 31st of this month. As for my other least favorite villager, Tabby, she wanted to give me a new nickname: Dumpling. Heck no!!

Tabby: OK, here it is! Dumpling! Snappy, right?I had her call me killer instead. Except the game wouldn’t let me enter “killer,” so I had to use a special character for the “i.”

Tabby: The sun's gone down, but you just keep going, killer!Later on, I went to see K.K. perform at Club LOL. I got a tip from Alyssa on Youtube to request K.K. Island, so I did.

K.K.: K.K. Island's a secret song...It plays the song from the island in the GameCube version of Animal Crossing. Pretty cool! This is what the CD album cover looks like:
