Rewarded for Snooping

On Monday, I let Merka come over to drop off the devil Katie in my town.

Merka and Katie arrive in Forest via train.

I actually haven’t seen Katie in a long time, but I’ve never really been a fan. Katie has annoyed me very much in the past, and I’m kind of hoping she permanently missed her flight to the New Horizons island.

Merka and I had a brief net fight.

Jeff and Merka attack each other with nets.
My net is golden, so I win.

She asked me about the whirt shirt I was wearing.

Merka: What's ur whirt?

I was wearing the black anchor tee from Inkwell’s RV, so I offered to scan a Splatoon Amiibo so she could check it out (and order one for herself, if she wished). I had to kick her out, but I reopened after summoning Inkwell and his RV.

I played New Leaf again tonight, and I was barely able to make it to Chip’s tent in time to see the winners’ ceremony for the fishing tournament. Merka’s former villager Claudia was the winner, with a “stunning” 6.45 inch pond smelt. Vivian got 2nd place, and Aurora finished in third.

Claudia stands atop the winners' podium during the fishing tournament's winners ceremony.

The northern lights were shining in the sky, so I took this picture after I came out of Chip’s tent.

While snooping through Lolly’s furniture, I found a classic chair in her dresser. The cute kitty let me have it.

Jeff, in Lolly's house: I got a classic chair!
I got rewarded for snooping.

At Club LOL, Kabuki and Dizzy were hanging out to hear K.K. Slider perform. I asked K.K. for a random song, and he played K.K. Ballad.

Rolf informed me that Aurora was thinking about moving out. So I made sure I got her to ping me (even though I had to save and quit to do it), and I got her to change her mind and stick around. The scary part is that she was going to move on the 10th, and today is the 8th. If I hadn’t stopped her, she would have been gone by the next time I played! Yikes.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors include Jacques from Noatun, Emily from Gooseton, and Corban from Maytron. Lolly also mentioned dreaming of Ivy from Pumpkin. Thank you all for stopping by, and have a great day!

Unrewarding Delivery

Just before midnight tonight, I barely made it into Club LOL in time to check out K.K. Slider’s Saturday night performance.

K.K.: You just made it! ...I'm psyched you came down this late. That's how the real music fans do it.

He played K.K. Safari for me, Velma, and Julian.

When I came back to town, I heard a balloon present. I shot it down in front of the train station. Unfortunately, I found a balloon chair inside.

I saw on the bulletin board that I actually missed Vivian’s birthday and Aurora’s birthday this week. Oops. I didn’t play at all this week until tonight.

Rolf asked me to make a delivery to Claudia, and I agreed to help out. So I took the item from one tiger to another. It was a reggae tank, and Claudia told me that she had already replaced it before Rolf could return it.

Claudia: Oh well. Maybe I'll sell one of them sometime. I don't want to have a cluttered house, if I died.

Surprisingly, she didn’t give me the extra one, nor did she offer any reward at all. But then I realized my pockets were full, so that’s probably why. Maybe the developers didn’t want you to be able to force bells as a reward, so they just give you no reward at all when your pockets are full.

Gulliver was down on the beach, talking about explorers. I knew he was headed to Portugal, so he’ll be sending me a souvenir from there soon.

Gulliver: I promise I'll send you a fancy souvenir! It might take a while, but you'd better get your hopes up!

Luna informed that my most recent dream visitor was Leandro from Neudorf. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great night!

Gobble Time

On Tuesday, Rolf asked me for a river fish. I caught a goldfish for him, and he seemed to appreciate it. He gave me a work shirt in return.

Rolf: Oh, right. I need to thank you! Please take my fancy work shirt!
It’s really not fancy, but thanks.

Boots asked me for some fruit today, so I handed him a perfect peach. But by the look on his face, I was almost afraid that he was going to eat me!

Boots: Gobble time in 3...2...1...

But fortunately, the hungry gator just ate the peach. He thanked me by giving me a cheese wall. Hmm, why couldn’t he just eat that? 😛

There an igloo set up at the campsite, and Pompom the duck was inside. She was excited to experience a Forest winter.

Pompom: Hi there! I'm so excited to experience one of Forest's famous winters!

I don’t share that same enthusiasm for winter. I’m already looking forward to spring. By the way, the snow melts one month from today (on February 25th)! 🙂

I found two snowballs near the geyser today, so I decided to put them together. I was trying to make a perfect snowmam…and I actually succeeded! I didn’t catch any snowflakes recently, but she’ll be around for a few days in case I need to trade some in.

Snowmam: I'm PERFECT!

Speaking of snowballs, I just posted a video today of me having some fun with snowballs in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Check it out if you’re interested.

Up at Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed Rockin’ K.K. for me, Velma, and Big Top.

K.K.: Enough tuning--let's groove. This next one is for you, Jeff. It's called Rockin' K.K.

My recent dream visitors include Kinya from Yoghurt, Nick from Kanto, and Ivy from Leafclan. Hornsby also mentioned Teren from DalyCity. Thank you all for stopping by, and have a great night!
