On Wednesday, Lolly told me she thought I could use a baby bed. Wait, why? Are you trying to tell me something?

However, she said she just found it while she was cleaning her room? And it reminded her of me, so that’s why she gave it to me. So…is she calling me a baby?

Back outside, Boots was jealous of a cricket I caught. For some reason.

He offered to exchange his paw tee for my cricket, and I agreed to the trade.

I was sick and tired of everyone calling me a bell-pincher, despite me always agreeing to buy my villagers’ overpriced junk. I’d even prefer being called a stump maker, which isn’t exactly the most positive label either. So I chopped down all my palm trees on the beach.

However, that wasn’t enough; Boots still called me a bell-pincher. So I chopped down a few other trees as well. I’ll have to wait and see if my label has changed yet. If not, I’ll keep chopping down trees (and replanting them when necessary).

Tonight, Boots asked me for some new furniture, so I gave him a bird feeder that I had in my pockets. He loved it, and he thanked me by giving me his picture. I’ve received his pic multiple times before, but I appreciate the gesture. Now if only Lolly would do the same…

Tonight was the night of the autumn moon (harvest moon), so there was a scarecrow on a face-cutout standee at the event plaza.

Isabelle was also nearby, handing out wheat bundles.

And up at Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Marathon for me and Velma.

Last week, I found a lost book on the ground. I returned it to its owner, Vivian. She said it was a mystery novel that she didn’t get to finish. The detective just found out that a vitamin jar was in the polenta. What a jarring discovery!

She gave me a watermelon table for returning the book.

On Monday, Big Top told me a fish story about the one that got away…up his nose! Yikes. That’s one danger of fishing that I’ve never even considered!

Monday was Labor Day in the U.S., so Isabelle was outside at the event plaza to hand out picnic baskets. There was also a face-cutout standee for Labor Day, so I stuck my face into it.

I later stuck my face into the picnic basket too. 😛

When I ran into Big Top again, he gave me a present: a portable toilet!

He said when he saw it, it reminded him of me! 😮

Tonight, a scorpion was waiting for me as soon as I came out of my house! Fortunately, I was able to catch it before it caught me.

I visited Lolly, and Rolf was also there for a visit. Or maybe he was just there to eat Lolly’s cookies!

Lolly said she was hoping to have an oven-cleaning party in five years. As tempting as that sounded, I declined the offer. Besides, she might not even save me any cookies then either!

I found another lost item, a mitten, tonight. Once again, it was Vivian that lost it! But she said that she doesn’t even wear the mitten, she just uses it to keep a porcelain figure called “Softball Girl” inside of it! Vivian is a strange one.

She gave me a relay tank for returning the item. I relayed my thanks.

At Club LOL, Daisy and Tom were seated at opposite ends of the club. Perhaps they were fighting like cats and dogs. I asked K.K. Slider for a random song, and he played K.K. Metal for the three of us.

When I visited Claudia yesterday, I found her sitting in her chair inside her house. She was talking about how cute and comfy the chair was.

Tonight was the last fireworks festival of the summer, in New Leaf at least. Isabelle was over at the event plaza, and she gave me a bulb bopper to wear for the occasion.

Crazy Redd was selling cookies, and I bought two of them. The first one had a “dud prize” inside. I redeemed it for a roman candle.

My second cookie contained a flash prize.

Redd referred to it as a boom ticket for some reason, but it was a winner regardless. Redd gave me a lovely phone as my prize.

I watched some fireworks from the bridge, and later, near the train tracks.

The villagers in town were also commenting on the fireworks. It sounds like everyone had a good time.

I went home and tested out my lovely phone. I called the automated fortune-telling telephone service. I was told to listen to Agent K.K. while doing some early-morning training to build stamina.

Then, the recording told me to wear a cap for good luck.
