I went back to the Lumpy Pumpkin and tried the harp song again. On my fourth try, the customers finally applauded. The owner’s daughter Kina said it wasn’t very good, but it still counted. *Whew* The owner gave me a piece of heart.
Even better, he said my debt to him was fully repaid now. He said he could now afford to get a new chandelier. I went to bed, and when I woke up, the new chandelier was already up!
But now the owner’s daughter Kina said that she needs someone who is good at plowing the field. Smurf-Fi popped up and told me I can now dowse to find that person. Dowsing led me to the volcano, where this Mogma was excited about the opportunity.
Smurf-Fi called in the robot, who hauled the Mogma away. Once at the Lumpy Pumpkin, he got to work. Kina was happy and she gave me five gratitude crystals.
Back in Skyloft, I went up onto Beedle’s ship shop, which no longer has any items for sale. He said he wanted to talk to me, but told me to sleep until he felt like talking. So I slept until night and I woke up on his island. There, he told me he lost his rare horned colossus beetle. I’m supposed to find it for him, but so far there are no clues on where it might be.
In Skyloft again the next day, a man wanted me to perform a very odd task. I had to break his daughter’s heart.
Once I did, his father gave me five gratitude crystals. I then had 72 of them, so I went to see Batreaux. He gave me a total of 600 rupees, but he still didn’t turn into a human. He told me to come back when I had 80 gratitude crystals. I then saved my game.
My to-do list now has “find Beedle’s beetle” instead of completing the harp song, but it is otherwise the same as last time.
