Entry 16: StreetPass Camper
First of all, I want to point out that the Tomodachi Life demo is now freely available in the North American 3DS eShop. You no longer need a download code, so be sure to give it a try if you haven't already!Have you ever wondered what Charlie Brown would look like when he grows up? In Charlie's dream, I found out. Good grief!
Even though Elly liked her robot outfit, I had her remove the helmet but keep the rest of the suit on. This actually reminds me of how she dressed in Xenogears, so I think I'll keep this outfit on her. Anyway, she told me she enjoys shaking her maracas. That's what they're for, so keep at it!
The interior shop had a prison cell for sale; this would be perfect for George Sr.!
Zoidberg had a heart icon floating around him, so I wondered what was up. When I spoke to him, he said he and Miss Piggy have been thinking about having another baby! I told them to go for it.
Over at the cafe, three of the guys were hanging out and talking. George Sr., Tobias, and Yukon were having random conversations, including one about mutant flashlights.
And I learned something new about Popeye. It's common knowledge that Popeye is a sailor, man, but I didn't know what kind of sailing he did. Apparently, he's a pirate!
Mr. Bean was very upset after a fight with Shaq.
But after taking a bath to cool down, he and Shaq successfully patched things up. Good thing too, because Shaq could crush Mr. Bean like a...bean.
Up in Lucille 2's apartment, it seems that her vertigo has returned. Looks like a case of the dizzies.
And I do not even want to know why Tobias had this dream. "I like big buns and I can not lie."
It is now July, and that means a new SpotPass item is available in the import shop. The new item for this month is an Uncle Sam costume for Independence Day (the 4th of July).
I also got my first Tomodachi Life StreetPass today! A boat carrying Andrew from Fiji Island arrived at my dock.
He asked me if he could camp out on Wolf Bobs Island for the night, and of course I said yes.
So Andrew set up a tent underneath the starry sky.
I could then interact with him and give things to him. He was hungry, so I gave him a banana. He enjoyed it and offered to sell me a crumpet, which is a special food item, for three play coins. Since I recently completed all of my Puzzle Swap panels, I've had plenty of play coins to spare. So I bought the crumpet.
Andrew told me had a picture taken with Yukon (when was this?). Apparently, this picture will (at some point) be seen by the person whose island Andrew came from. Pretty cool. When the Zoidberg family has their second baby, I plan on letting it travel like this also.
A newsflash informed me that the campground is now open for travelers. Up to ten tents can be pitched at a time. Can you imagine having ten campers at once? That would be in-tents!
The import shop also had a strawberry hoodie from Andrew's home of Fiji Island.
Before I wrapped up my game for the night, I checked the news broadcast. Apparently, a mystical deer known as a Breezy Deer has been discovered! Be sure to watch out for this one, everyone!
That's all I have for now, but I'll leave you with three QR codes for residents of Wolf Bobs Island: Elly Van Houten, Lindsay Funke, and Mr. Bean.
