Entry 49: Samurai Clothes DLC
On the Mii News, I learned of a new type of exercise invented by Elly: Pretzel exercise! No, you don't have to curl up into a pretzel shape, you just have to move your body around while holding a pretzel. Sounds easy enough. There's a chill in the air on Wolf Bobs Island, with temperatures reaching record lows. It's so cold that everything outside--even the air itself--has frozen! Be careful out there!
As of January 1st, a new SpotPass item is available at the import-wear shop: Samurai clothes! Here's a look at them, as modeled by Dr. Zoidberg.
The outfit is available in four colors and can be bought for $77.90 (in game money, of course).
The interiors shop has a new interior that's only available in January. It's the winter interior, and it can be bought for $400.00. It features snowmen, penguins, an igloo, and an aurora up in the sky. It's pretty cool.
The island's residents (both Miis and shop employees) will wish you a Happy New Year on January 1st.
Villager asked me what he should say when he's mad. I tried to think of a good pseudo-swear word for him, and I ultimately told him to say "Tom Nook it!"
So far, I've only been feeding Villager fruit...fruit that's available in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. None of them have been among his special favorites/worst foods, but his top-three foods to this point are mangos, peaches, and apples.
Conan told me he'd like to take a romantic vacation with Maeby, so I gave him a travel ticket. The two of them took off for Japan, where they visited Kumamoto Castle, Tokyo, and Okinawa.
When they returned, Conan gave me a folding fan as a souvenir.
Dangit, Bobby. There's a leaf on your head.
After giving Elly some lemonade, she turned gray and melted! It's her worst ever food! That's what she gets for divorcing me.
Alien asked me for a new interior, so I looked through my list to find a good one for him. Ah yes, the space station interior. It's out of this world!
I was trying to think of a good way to dress up Villager. Ultimately, I decided to give him a viking hat, which is a reference to his GameCube days, where male players always wore viking hats.
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you have a great 2015 and beyond! See you next time!
