Entry 5: Rap Battle
Bobby Hill told me he wasn't good at giving compliments, and then said my hair was less ugly than usual today. After leveling up Jeff, I was able to give him a gift. I gave him a Wii U! Unfortunately, he didn't do anything with it. He just put it in his pocket or something.
Breezy quizzed me, and I incorrectly guessed that she and Gaston had different personalities. My consolation prize was a roll of toilet paper. Thanks, Breezy.
I checked on The Count, and he was dreaming. So I took a look inside his dream, and he was just falling. Continuously, endlessly falling. Couldn't he just turn into a bat?
When I visited Darth Vader, he wanted to play football! But it was actually more like a sumo match on a football field. I mashed on the buttons (and used the Force) to defeat him!
He leveled up, and I chose to teach him a new song. I thought seeing Darth Vader singing opera would be pretty funny, so that's what I picked for him. Here's a video of his performance: (open on Youtube)
I then went up to the observation tower for a round of Quirky Questions. Even though there's an auto-fill button you can press for random words to fill in the blanks, you can instead fill them in with words of your choice. Apparently, The Count needs Tumblr to be happy.
And most of the panel has problems wetting the bed.
I even asked an Earthbound-related question.
Later, I went to the afternoon market at the park. Gaston was selling a punk-rocker outfit, and I just had to get it for Tobias. I'm sure he enjoys the freedom to wear things like this.
I was asked by Ethan about what keeps Miis of people in your family from wanting to be in a relationship with you. When you create (or import) a Mii into Tomodachi Life, there is an option for telling the game if (or how) someone is related to you. These are the options:
And today, I tried out the rap battle for the first time. The first battle was Jeff vs. Zoidberg. I was up first.
But Zoidberg struck back.
We went back and forth a few times, but Zoidberg ultimately defeated me. But I wasn't alone; Zoidberg made short work of Bobby Hill too.
I watched one more battle, Bobby Hill vs. The Count. Bobby started out strong.
And The Count choked. Bobby wins!
I acquired a can of hair color spray and used it on Elly. The red hair option in the Mii Maker isn't nearly red enough, so I tried to make her look more like the Elly from Xenogears.
I leveled up Tobias again, and I taught him the rap song. I should call him T-Rap. As he was performing, it looked like Elly was kissing his hand in this picture, but she wasn't. It was just an illusion.
That's all I have for this time, but I'll be back with more crazy adventures soon! See you next time!
