Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog
Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So each blog entry will usually cover multiple "game days." If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in!

Day 13

I finally got around to working on the hospital today. After choosing the exterior of the building, I learned about the three rooms inside. The reception area is where patients first check in, and wait to be called by the doctor. The doctor's office is where the doc examines patients, and the patient's ward is where the patients lie down or rest (perhaps after surgery, for example).

My waiting room has plenty of seating and plenty of magazines for patients to read while they're waiting.

The doctor's office is small, but I tried to include all the essentials. But whose X-ray is that? I don't want to hog the doctor's time, but I must know!

The patients' room required three beds, and I used hospital screens to divide the sections. Two beds have an IV drip next to them, and one has an EKG machine. Get well, get well soon!

When I was done, my co-workers came over to check out the hospital. Tom Nook and Digby were playing doctor with Lottie.

Back at the office, Lottie told me Isabelle won't be coming in tomorrow. But she will let us know when more permits come through for other facilities.

I returned to the hospital to see how the villagers were doing, and I found a bunch of sick animals in the waiting room!

Cole was the doctor, Soleil was the nurse, and poor little Rod was the patient. I don't think he's going to make it.

Before I ended my game for the night, I got out my handbook for another lesson. I chose "Windows and More," which cost me two Play Coins. This will let me design my own windows, curtains, and doors. I'm not sure I'll use this feature much, but it's always good to have the option.

Thanks for visiting! See you next time!

Ok so you have answered most of my questions, should have read your blog 1st. No need to post my comments. It so looks like fun if you are looking for a game for enjoyment only. Thinking of getting it. I have so many games to play and so little time.

Do you enjoy this game Jeff? Is it something that can keep you entertained for a long time, like years, sick as the other AC games. Do you need to continue to acquire character game cards in order to expand your progress? Thanks and no I haven't read your other blogs yet, so I will do so now, I'm case you answered some of those questions. I'd like to download the game, but don't have a reader for my 3dsxl, haven't researched if I can buy reader separate yet.
