Entry 137: Into 2025!

We're over a month into the new year now, and I have another Tomodachi Life update for you all. Yes, I'm still playing the game in 2025!

In January, Zoidberg asked me what he should say when he's feeling worried. So I told him to say "Woop woop woop," which is the sound he would sometimes make on Futurama...usually as he's running around like crazy.

When I checked in on SpongeBob one night, he was already asleep. So I looked inside of his dream, and this is what I saw:

Speaking of squid ink, I spotted Inkling Girl doing a magic show at the amusement park! Somehow, she cut Snoopy in half! What an ink-credible illusion!

Charlie Brown was in pieces when he saw this. But fortunately, this was only half of the trick.

Another time, I found SpongeBob manning the night market stand and it reminded me of the Bubble Stand in his show. Can I blow some bubbles for 25 cents?

On January 15th, Bobby asked me for a new look for his apartment. I gave him the bicycle interior, and he seemed to like it. He leveled up to level 98. But with him being that close to 99, I gave him a few more goodies until he leveled up again. He has now reached level 99! I believe he is the 4th Mii on my island to reach level 99, behind Jeff, Elly, and Annyong.

I gave SpongeBob a disposable camera, and I asked him to take a photo of someone we know. This is what he came back with:

SpongeBob titled the photo "Forget All Your Worries." Is Shaq teaching five other islanders how to sing? No offense, but I don't think that would be a good sounding choir. Shaq is calling the shots, and The Count is keeping track of the tempo...but Mario would be jumping between octaves. I may be lucky it was just a photo, not a video.

On January 17th, Gavin told me that he and Velma were thinking about having a baby!

I told him they should go for it! This will be Gavin's first child, but Velma's 4th. Velma previously had three babies with The Count: Madeline, Liam, and Julia.

On January 20th, they had a baby girl named Kennedy! I have now added her to the list of kids born on Wolf Bobs Island.

On the Mii News, I saw that the winter temperatures set an all-time record low. It was reported that pavements, streams, buildings, and even the air froze! They advised people not to walk around outside unless you want to become a shiny ice statue.

By January 26th, Kennedy was all grown up!

I sent her off to be a traveler...or more realistically, to live the rest of her life at the port, waiting for a ship that will never come. But I did watch the montage of Kennedy growing up, and I took a photo of her cooking with her mother. It was kind of cute.

SpongeBob told me that he was a real rebel when he was a kid.

In the concert hall, Mr. Saturn professed his love for Rosalina. But a recently-reassembled Snoopy showed up too, and then Luigi dropped in as well!

However, Rosalina wasn't interested in any of them. They're so far out of her league, she's practically in another Galaxy. And besides, she's still dating Tobias (believe it or not).

After I gave The Count some meatloaf, he wanted me to pass an ordinance to make sure that all meat should be in loaf form!

On January 29th, I bought a mystery bag at the night market. As you know, sometimes you can get some cool outfits or even a nice apartment interior. But on this particular night, I got a soda, a hard-boiled egg, and an apple bob (an accessory that lets a Mii wear an apple on its head). Definitely not the best value, but I'm still a fan of the night market mystery bags overall.

On Sunday (February 2nd), I gave SpongeBob some blue cheese, and he blasted off into outer space! It is his super all-time favorite food!

That is the first of his special reaction foods that I've found, and I have now added SpongeBob to my food reactions list.

There are still four married couples on my island, and my Quality of Life rating is up to 236 stars. As a reminder, new entries will be few and far between. But there will be more at some point! See you next time!
