Entry 87: Rabbit Hat Colors

Popeye was missing Lucille 2, and he wanted to test the waters and get back together with her. Maybe even repair their relationship.

Popeye: I really miss Lucille 2. I think we should get back together...

But Lucille 2 wasn't interested in giving the seaman another spin.

So Popeye decided to leave this world.

Actually, he just tried to make himself feel better by eating some chocolate. And it worked. Chocolate is his super all-time favorite food. But I'm sure that's only because spinach isn't in the game (in the American version, at least).

In other news, Alien spotted a cloud that looked just like the Swedish Chef!

Too bad all clouds can't look like Muppets. More people would look up if they had a chance of seeing Kermit the Fog or Mist Piggy.

TZ told me that she broke up with Alien. Wait...what? The last I heard, she was dating Gavin. So I'm not sure if that was a glitch, where it meant to say Gavin instead of Alien, or if she broke up with Gavin, started dating Alien, and then broke up with Alien all without me knowing.

TZ: So...I broke up with Alien. I hope we can manage to stay friends.

As of April 16th, all available colors of rabbit hats have been stocked via SpotPass!

Believe it or not, I've been waiting for this update for a long time! But my hope turned to disappointment once I saw that yellow wasn't one of the available colors! I wanted yellow so that Gaston could finally look like the yellow rabbit he is. But it's not to be.

Regardless, the hats are available at the import-wear shop for $22.00 each.

In the park today, Darth Vader asked Peach out. But Popeye and Tobias also showed up, all wanting Peach to be their main squeeze.

But Peach chose Darth Vader, so they are sweethearts once again! If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time that a couple on my island has broken up and later got back together.

Peach: Darth Vader, I'm so glad you feel the same.

Looking over other even older entries, TZ did date Alien right after she divorced George Sr, and evidently they broke up sometime between entry 77 and entry 81 (when she hooked up with Kevin Love). The game still recognizes exes as such, but since by this entry she's on her second sweetheart since him I have no idea why she brought up Alien.
