Entry 134: Pauline's Sweetheart

I recently saw on the Mii News that Bobby Hill, of all people, discovered the largest sausage in the world. It is 500 times larger than an ordinary sausage!

But he told people it was 1,000 times larger than average.

Bobby's father, Hank Hill, was last seen shopping for a larger propane grill.

I gave Elly a travel ticket, and I was a bit surprised to see that she had not one, but two guests with her. Inigo and Zoidberg both joined her for a vacation in Switzerland.

The Swiss Alps look majestic any time of year.

Pauline asked me for a new apartment interior, so I bought her the "street" interior. It's the closest thing I could find to New Donk City.

Pauline: Thank you for the new interior. It's got a nice feel to it.

The Swedish Chef asked out Breezy in the cafe, but she turned him down. She's still dating Gaston, after all.

Lindsay and Squishy were having a big fight the other day. They were throwing basketballs, Super Scopes, and rubber duckies all over Lindsay's apartment.

That's going to hit you in the head! Duck!

But I cheered Lindsay up with some of her favorite foods, and then the two of them apologized and made up.

Just tonight, The Count asked out Pauline in the park.

The Count, to Pauline: Will you go out with me?

But before she could answer, Tobias appeared out of nowhere...in a tutu.

He also professed his love for Pauline. However, Pauline chose The Count. Tobias promptly passed out.

Tobias passes out, and lies on the ground.

And...scene.

So The Count and Pauline are now sweethearts!

Pauline and The Count hang out together.

Pauline sang to him, saying she was his 1-up girl. He replied, "1-up, 2-up, THREE-up girl, AH AH AH." I don't think you can count on this relationship lasting long. :P

I gave Annyong a frying pan, and he cooked up an All-American elephant ear. Fitting, because he was wearing the Uncle Sam costume at the time (and it is Memorial Day here in the U.S. as well).

Annyong wears his Uncle Sam costume after just reaching level 99.

Anyway, that made him level-up, and he reached level 99! I believe he is just the third Mii on my island to reach level 99, after Jeff and Elly. Although a few others are getting close as well.

There haven't been any marriages or divorces since the last entry, so there are still five married couples on the island. My Quality of Life rating is up to 230 stars.

Lately I've been playing the Nintendo Switch version of Miitopia. I've been using many of my Tomodachi Life Miis in various roles in Miitopia. I've also added some Animal Crossing characters, such as Tabby in the role of the Dark Lord, and Agent S as a member of my party. I don't get why Tomodachi life isn"t on switch yet. It was one (And still is) the main game I played as a kid. But instead of Tomodachi life, they made another Pikmin game.

The Count hanging out with Agent S. Okay, it's actually from last night's "The Masked Singer" which was "Sesame Street" night, but since you have these characters as Miis I thought I'd share it with you. And the Squirrel was actually a contestant and not Agent S specifically but the costume is reminiscent of Agent S. Wonder if there's an "Animal Crossing" fan on the show's staff, or if the participant herself is one hence why she chose that costume.

Is there a way you can make only *certain* Miis sharable in Miitopia? While I don't mind people using famous people or fictional characters I made (or downloaded off the Check Mii Out channel back when it existed and have held on to ever since), I'd rather keep the Mii of myself to... myself. The thought that "I" could be the Dark Lord, either of the King's "support guards" (read: carriers), the Prince of Neksdor, or some other unflattering role (I know what they are but I don't know how far in the game you are or how you feel about "spoilers") in someone else's game bothers me.

I've only played the 3DS version of Miitiopia, but I also cast Villager- your Villager- as the mayor and while I didn't use the same characters for the couple, I nevertheless used one of the more... unorthodox marriages (still together as of this writing, BTW) from my own Tomodachi save file. Also, Lolly from Animal Crossing is my Nintendo fangirl.

@Jeff, they’re having a third baby now!, their son Theo grew up, then they had a girl named Sarah, and now they’re having baby#3! I have two 3dses and I mix between the two, that’s how you can get babies quicker or for couples to have more babies quicker without having to wait 8 or more days.

@Anonymous: No QR for Tomodachi Life, because the Mii itself doesn't look very good without the helmet and features I added in Miitopia. But if you want to use the Mii in Miitopia, you can use access key 1BKTJHD.

On my island, Pauline was sweethearts with Waluigi (who previously had married and divorced Rosalina), but they never made it to the altar let alone had any ugly babies. She later became sweethearts with and is currently married to the bartender from the game "Tapper".
