Entry 135: 60th Baby

Hi everyone! It's been a long time, but I'm finally back with another entry. I'm writing this in February 2024, and the last entry was back in May of 2021! I don't play Tomodachi Life very often any more, but I do check in from time to time. So let's get started on what's happened since last time.

In May of 2022, I was surprised to find a SpotPass notification from one of my travelers! It was from Leah (the daughter of Popeye and Lucille 2), who first appeared in entry 53. In a letter, she said that she had visited seven islands, and she was currently staying on Flora Island.

Her level has increased up to level 5.

Around the same time, Luigi told me he had feelings for Rosalina. He asked her out, but Rosalina instead chose to date Tobias, who showed up uninvited!

The next day, Miss Piggy was the newscaster on the Mii News. She reported that Velma had set up a new company...

Velma's company is known for mass producing bacon! That couldn't have been an easy thing for Miss Piggy to report!

Skull asked me to play a game with him, and it was one of those zoomed-in photo games. But nothing was visible except empty space! Just like his soul.

The options were a whiteboard eraser, collar, or baked beans. I guessed it was a whiteboard eraser, thinking the white part could've been part of the whiteboard. But no, it was a collar. The white space was the empty space in the middle. Oof.

In May of 2023, I heard back from another traveler! It was Zoey (the daughter of TZ and George Sr.), who left Wolf Bobs Island back in 2015. Zoey was born in entry 68.

She's currently staying on Genosha Island, which is apparently her first island visit. With online services for 3DS ending in April 2024, could Zoey be the last islander I ever hear from? It seems likely.

On the Mii News, it was reported that the latest fashion trend was nail art featuring stethoscopes!

Last month (January 2024), I bought Baker a red football uniform...since he plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers now. He seemed to like it.

The Swedish Chef asked out a fellow Muppet, Miss Piggy, at the cafe.

She said yes, and they are now sweethearts.

Earlier this month, Xavier told me that he and Hailey were thinking about having a baby. I told them to go for it, and on February 11th, they had a baby boy named Julian.

Even though I played a couple more times during Julian's childhood, they were late(-ish) at night, when the baby was sleeping. So I didn't actually get to interact with Julian, though I did catch Xavier having a sleepless night on Valentine's Day.

As of Saturday (February 17th), Julian was all grown up. I sent him away to travel the world. (Not that he'll get very far.)

He is the 4th child by Xavier and Hailey, and the 60th baby overall. I have now updated my list of kids born on Wolf Bobs Island.

There are still five married couples on my island (no change from last time), and my Quality of Life rating is 231 (up ever so slightly from last time). That's all I have for now, but I might be back again someday with another entry. I'm hoping we eventually get a sequel to Tomodachi Life, or even a port on Switch (or Switch 2).
