Day 112
July is here, and so is a new monthly challenge. I checked the red computer on the first floor of the office building to connect to the Happy Home Network. This month's theme is "the journey home."The required items are the new propeller plane and a UFO. The UFO is a repeat from the January challenge.
I tried to make the outdoors look like an airport, complete with a runway so Tom Nook can hopefully fly far, far away. The propeller plane's body can be customized to be blue (the default), red, orange, green, black, or white. The symbol on the wings can be leaves, hearts, a clothes fabric, or a custom design.
Since it's the Independence Day (4th of July) weekend here in America, I chose the red body (since it also has white and blue on it) and I used my United States flag for the pattern on the wings. (You can find the QR code for my flag here if you're interested). I also used it on the roof of Nook's house, along with red, white, and blue flowers in the yard.
That left the UFO to be used indoors. The summit wall was unlocked with this project. Isn't it unusual for a wallpaper to be unlocked in a challenge? Still, I decided to use it, along with a daisy meadow carpet.
I surrounded the UFO with an armada of smaller flying saucers. As a peace offering, I offered a sacrifice to them: Tom Nook. They can take Nook, either to study him or to eat him, back to their own world. Fair deal?
