Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So each blog entry will usually cover multiple "game days." If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in! At the bottom of the page, you'll be able to find links to all of the entries. Or read my review.
Day 73
I met up with Papi the horse on Main Street today, and he wanted a house where all the furniture was made with wood. But how much wood would be good? For a horse? Lots, of course!
As for the outside of the house, I tried to make it look like a barn. Uh, no particular reason. I also put in a few apple trees and a picket fence.
The furniture items unlocked for this project included a wooden stool, an owl clock, a kokeshi doll, a wooden bear, and an Aries rocking chair. I used them all, along with the modern wood furniture set. Even though the sporty floor isn't wooden, I thought Papi might enjoy a nice trot around his house. Maybe it'll help keep him on track for the times he's tempted to horse around. Wood you believe he loved it?
If you're in the mood, race on over to project code 0291-7719-752 to check it out. Papi says hi.
Day 74
Coco the gyroidcoconut rabbit told me that she would like her house to include an exhibit of ancient artifacts like herself. I chose a location in the desert for her.
The outside of the house features a cactus-lined path leading to the her house/museum. Off to the side is the excavation area, with a handcart and a couple of skeletons. I would have liked to include a shovel or two, but they haven't been unlocked yet. Instead, I put in a rack of garden tools.
Inside, I used the new dig-site wall and floor. Coco insisted on an ancient statue; I also added a mystic statue and a bunch of fossils. I even put in a couple of gyroids near the door--they can be the museum greeters.
If you'd like to stop on by, the project code is 0695-7715-267. The admission is free!
Aww, I love Papi's little barn! I love Papi, too, actually. He was one of my starters in NL. I love his NL house!

@Beth he was one of mine too! Sadly he moved away a while ago... Hey Jeff, I just wanted to share a new way I found of posting old houses to HHN without wasting a day! Here's how:
1. Visit the client list
2. Click on the client whose house you want to upload but don't visit it
3. Click on the computer icon that shows up on the bottom of the screen after you click on a client
4. Follow the steps it tells you
I hope this helps, and I hope to see you post some of your old designs! :)
