Day 116
I connected to the Happy Home Network to check out the monthly challenge. The theme for November is "A bit of old, a bit of new."Unfortunately, no new items are unlocked this time (if you've participated in previous challenges). The two required items are a luxury car (previously acquired in the February challenge) and the carriage (unlocked in April).
I decided to make the "new" part outdoors and the "old" part indoors. Outside, I use three luxury cars and several wide-screen TVs, and I gave the house an astro exterior.
Indoors, I used the rice-paddy wall and wildflower floor, along with the prairie sounds as the sound scenery. I put in some tree standees to make it look like the carriage was driving down a road.
Just for reference though, I may not participate in future challenges if both items are duplicates of ones already released. But I haven't completely given up on regular jobs for villagers yet either, even though I haven't done any of those in quite a while. There are still items that I want to unlock, so I will be back with more (even though I have no specific schedule for this blog).
