Hello, and welcome to my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Blog! I'm Jeff and here you can follow along with my adventures in the game. Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Happy Home Designer does not run in real-time. So some blog entries will cover multiple game days. If you'd like, you can start from the beginning or just jump right in! At the bottom of the page, you'll be able to find links to all of the entries. Or read my review.
Day 89
Monique the cat was out on Main Street today, and she told me she wanted a solemn home with stained glass. Does that mean she wants her house to look like a church? I can only pray that I'm right.
I gave her a domed house to resemble a church, and I used gorgeous rugs to make a path (which I then lined with gold roses). The cupid bench has been unlocked for this project, so I used it along with a statue fountain on the right side of the path. On the other side, I put in a perfect apple tree. Those apples are sinfully delicious!
Indoors, a pipe organ was one of the items Monique insisted on. A halo is a newly unlocked accessory--so there's no doubt this is meant to be a church. The kitschy wall was also unlocked, but I decided to use the arch window instead (along with a fancy tile floor). I used four of the new exotic benches and I put up a bunch of stained-glass windows on the walls.
I hope Monique cleaned up before coming to church today. Because cats that come straight from the litterbox must sit in their own pew.
If you'd like to attend services, head on over to project code 0192-7745-647.
Can you please share the codes for the stained windows on the church please.

@Anonymous: Those aren't custom patterns. I just used some of the built-in options or clothes fabric, including the cavalier shirt.

If it's meant to be a church, why doesn't it say so in the game

@Anonymous: Nintendo tries to be politically correct, by not mentioning religion so they don't offend anyone. Even in games that do reference religious holidays, they change the names. Like in Animal Crossing, they call it Toy Day instead of Christmas, and Bunny Day instead of Easter, etc.

@Jeff,
What exactly is wrong with religion? They're not saying it's bad, is it? If someone thinks religion bad it's not Nintendo's fault

@Anonymous: I think they just don't want to appear as if they're "endorsing" any particular religion.

Nice church, Jeff! It's perfect.
The apple tree is supposed to resemble that fruit that Adam and Eve shouldn't eat in the garden of Eden, right?
